Standards and materials
Materials, equipment and checks that protect the finish
Materials and coatings
We use OEM grade primers, colour coats and clear lacquers selected for strong adhesion, gloss retention and resistance to road salt and brake dust. For diamond cut wheels, the clear coat is UV stable to help prevent yellowing and staining. Materials are sourced from trusted brands and stored correctly so they perform as intended.
Cutting accuracy and calibration
Cut quality depends on accuracy, so our CNC lathe is maintained with verified tooling and regular calibration. We set cutting parameters to preserve the original profile and keep lines crisp. This helps the wheel face look clean and even once sealed.
Colour match and consistency
Colour consistency matters on a full set of wheels. We work with recognised paint systems and controlled mix data, then check the finish in natural and booth light so left and right sides read the same on the car. Where needed, we create spray out cards to confirm the match before coating the wheel.
Curing and clean environment
Durability comes from proper curing and a clean environment. Coatings are oven cured to the manufacturer’s schedule, with time and temperature recorded. Filtration and housekeeping keep dust levels low so the surface stays smooth and clear.
Safety, TPMS and hardware checks
Safety and hardware are checked as part of quality control. Wheel nuts are torqued to the vehicle specification with a calibrated wrench. TPMS valves are protected throughout, fitted with new seals where required, and tested on refit. Every wheel is balanced on calibrated equipment so the car runs smoothly at speed.
Records, photos and ePOD
We document the work with clear photos and ePOD where transport is involved. This record supports warranty, helps with future colour references, and gives you confidence that the materials and methods used meet our standards.
